Let me introduce myself.
The founder of the data science organization Tvyal.com, which translates to "data" from Armenian. I am an editor of "Armenian Economic Journal", which is published by the National Academy of Sciences, Armenia.
I teach Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematical Models in Financial Markets, Bayesian Statistics at Armenian-Russian Universities (RAU) and Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE).
I have participated in several research projects conducted by international organizations, such as: Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), German DOC Research Institute, European Union Water Initiative (EUWI+), German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). I was a research team leader (Young Scientists) at the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science, Armenia. I am a member of the Eurasian Expert Club. In addition, recently (2021) I won an individual research grant organized by "Center for the Promotion of Economic Education and Research" Foundation founded by the Central Bank of Armenia.
In 2011-2012 I was a participant of Erasmus Mundus PhD mobility program and did research at Swansea Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. I defended my dissertation in 2013. I am an associate professor at ASUE and RAU. I am an author of more than 30 publications. In addition, I wrote more than 80 articles on the prediction of the COVID19 epidemic in the Russian media. I appeared more than 15 times on major Russian news stations, such as RUSSIA24, Moscow24, and OTR.
I am proficient in R, Python programming languages and other related tools. Fluent in English and Russian.
I am married and have 2 children.
